We typically look to invest £40-£100 million of equity in deals of up to £300 million enterprise value. We target domestic or international companies headquartered or with management in the UK and take a more opportunistic approach elsewhere in Europe through our investment partners in France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

flexible approach

Our flexible investment approach allows us to:

• invest across all forms of private equity situations, including buy-outs, development capital, turnaround situations, PIPEs, restructuring and secondaries
• invest across the capital structure – be it equity, senior equity, convertibles or mezzanine
• take lead or minority positions alongside founders, other PE firms or the public markets
• hold investments for as long as is necessary to provide the best exit or invest in short term bridging instruments

Although we are not sector specific, of particular interest are businesses focussed around one or more of our macro growth themes:

• Austerity - Helping consumers and/or businesses reduce costs/save money
• Regulation - Current and prospective regulation a substantial driver of growth
• Ageing - Services and products geared to and benefiting from the increasing older demographic
• International - Realised or unrealised potential to exploit growth in international markets
• Ecommerce - B2B and/or B2C ecommerce business, both front end and infrastructure
